On Saturday, the Ward 8 Democrats elected ANC Commissioner Anthony Muhammad to the Ward 8 State Democratic Committeeman vacancy set to expire September 2012. Former DC Youth Mayor Markus Batchelor ran a very sound (and impressive) write-in campaign coming in with the second highest amount of votes.
