Join the Congress Heights Community Association, the National Park Service, the Anacostia Watershed Society and Washington Parks and People in a grassroots campaign to restore this 205-acre woodland oasis. By removing trash and invasive plant species, we’re protecting our trees, wildlife and river and transforming the park from an environmental injustice into a prized amenity for residents of Ward 8.
Meet at the corner of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X Avenues SE
Gloves, bags, and water will be provided.
Wear boots and clothes you can get dirty.
