Talented DC High School Students Wanted For Talent Competition
The Washington D.C. Area Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated is soliciting DC High School students for its annual DC High School Talent Hunt Competition. Ome
ga Psi Phi's Talent Hunt program provides exposure, encouragement and financial assistance to talented young people participating in performing arts. Participants will compete in the four categories: Dance, Drama, Vocal, and Instrumental.
The DC High School Talent Hunt Competition is limited to students that attend D.C. public schools. Any student that wishes to participate must audition March 5th at Paul Public Charter High School. All students passing the audition will perform at the Talent Hunt program on March 26th at Paul Public Charter High School. There will be cash prizes awarded for the winner of each category. There will also be a cash stipend awarded for each participant.
This program will provide regional and national exposure to students excelling in these categories. Students will first compete locally at the DC High School Talent Hunt Competition with the winner moving forward to compete at the Omega Psi Phi 3rd District Talent Hunt Competition, in Virginia Beach, against all the local Talent Hunt Competition winners. The Winner of the 3rd District Talent Hunt Competition, will be awarded the opportunity to compete against all district winners at the Omega Psi Phi International Conclave Talent Hunt Competition in Las Vegas July 2016.
