The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

Ramp from Southbound I-395 to Eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) under Southeast Freeway (I-695),alternating right and left lane closures of ramp from southbound I-395 to eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) under Southeast Freeway (I-695) on Thursday, December 26, 2024, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Ramp from Northbound South Capitol Street, S.E. to Westbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over South Capitol Street, S.E., a narrowing closure of the ramp from northbound South Capitol Street, S.E. to westbound Southeast Freeway (I-395) over South Capitol Street, S.E. on Thursday, December 26, 2024, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Ramp from Southbound I-395 to Eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) continuing onto Eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) over South Capitol Street, New Jersey Avenue, S.E. and Virginia Avenue, S.E., a right lane closure of the ramp from southbound I-395 to eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) continuing onto Eastbound Southeast Freeway (I-695) over South Capitol Street, New Jersey Avenue, S.E. and Virginia Avenue, S.E. on Monday, December 30, 2024, during the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas.  Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
