Artist/Designer Brian Evans will expand his Lumen8 Anacostia  “Anacostia in Fashion” (AIF) pop up shop to a full blown shopping experience.  Located in the Anacostia Designer Center, the AIF exhibit chronicles key moments in Anacostia’s history with fashion as the medium. 

To expand the AIF experience Evans will host “Couture  on the Beltway”.  Couture  on the Beltway will act as the nucleus of the pop-up shop explosion and Anacostia in Fashion Festival.  Visit coutureontheBeltway.com  to preview DC’s first fashion mobile boutique. Couture on the Beltway is a uniquely designed boutique on wheels with a warm, welcoming, cozy, sophisticated atmosphere. This newest innovative hub was designed to provide promotional services to today’s generation of the hottest aspiring African designers.  This will be no ordinary fashion experience.
