🌟 Register now for the DC Artists East Auction on September 10th [SP]

2020 has proven to be one of the most challenging years in American history. Pandemic closures, social unrest, and an unclear political future have impacted the arts community in profound ways. ARCH Development, home to projects like Anacostia Arts Center and The Honfleur Gallery, remains dedicated to creating opportunities to celebrate the arts in the face of these challenging times facing our community.

The DC Artists East Auction is a celebration of the creative ecosystems thriving in Wards 7 and 8. Our fine arts community is ready for the limelight, and this auction is how we’re bringing attention to the leaders in our community. Original work from Victoria Ford, Terrence Sloan, Zsudeska Terrell, James Terell, Luis Peralta Del Valle, Terrence Nicholson, and Isaiah Aladejobi will be auctioned on our new auction platform until Late September.

On September 10th at 6 PM, ARCH Development will be hosting a live auction event for the public to attend in person or online. We will be streaming the event via Facebook and Zoom conference. Our conversation will be moderated by Maleke Glee, founder of the Glee Group Cultural Planning. Topics regarding artist’s work, as well as the issues facing the arts community as a whole, will be discussed during our live auction event. Viewers will be able to participate in Q&A’s and bid on work from our artists in real-time.
