There will be a vigil for Amari Hall, the little girl who was murdered early Friday morning in her bed at 3314 11th Pl., SE.

the vigil will be held for Amari on her birth date –

(11th Place SE intersects with Alabama Ave. near Wheeler Rd. and Savannah St.)

We are asking everyone to bring a light – a flashlight is preferred.

UPDATE:
WASHINGTON - New developments in the murder of a young girl who was found Friday morning in a burning home in Southeast D.C.
D.C. Police have charged the mother of Amari Hall with her daughter's murder. Carlise Hall is charged with felony murder and cruelty to children.
Sources say Hall stabbed her daughter and herself before flagging down a police officer and directing them to the home in the 3300 block of 11th Place.
The young girl was in the home with injuries investigators say were not related to the fire. She died later.
