Martinique is magnifique!

Nothing like escaping the freezing temps in DC for the warm weather and beautiful beaches of the French West Indies! I went along with my best buddy Jeff and we had a blast! We also saw lots of familiar east of the river faces along the way like ANC Commissioner Stephen Slaughter! Seems that the word is spreading about these new flights to Martinique as lots of my Ward 8 family have been bragging about their recent trips to Martinque.

It was a great trip ---  even if my French was a little rusty! The Advoc8te highly recommends checking out the Norwegian Air website and booking a trip to the French West Indies tout de suite (that's "right now" in French)! Tickets were as low as $150 roundtrip although I highly recommend renting a car and exploring the island, in particular Sainte-Anne.
