Jan 28 | Anacostia Coordinating Council Monthly Meeting

The Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC) was established in 1983 as a volunteer membership consortium of organizations and individuals involved in revitalizing Anacostia and its adjacent neighborhoods. Founded to organize community support for building the Anacostia Metro Station, the ACC has expanded to address a wide range of community issues.

ACC is involved in information gathering and sharing, networking, advocacy, and community organizing.

Since its inception, ACC has welcomed over 1,000 guest speakers to its monthly meetings to discuss some of the community’s most pressing issues and to share important information about the community.

Every year, ACC sponsors or co-sponsors several evening community meetings that attract hundreds of residents. The Anacostia Coordinating Council has been involved in hundreds of activities that address the daily needs of our community members.
