MPD 3D | MPD Searching for Stolen French Bulldog Puppy, Information Needed

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District are seeking the public’s help with locating a puppy.
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, at approximately 7:48 p.m., the victim parked their vehicle in the 1000 Block of U Street, Northwest, leaving their puppy inside. When the victim returned to their vehicle a short time later, the rear passenger vehicle window was broken and the puppy was missing.
The puppy, named “Dak,” is a 10-week-old brown French Bulldog. He is pictured below:
Anyone who has any information about the location of Dak or information about the suspect(s) should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
