Sept 11 | WABA wants to hear from you about bicycle & pedestrian safety

This message goes out to all but particularly to my readers in Wards 7 and 8. Please take the time and attend this VERY important meeting. Bicycle and pedestrian safety is very important and it can save lives, I know, one of our dear Ward 8 community members was recently hit by a car so this is dear to my heart.  If you can't make the meeting, please contact Hannah Neagle to find other ways to make your voice heard. As a community, east of the river really needs to have a voice in these discussions. So please share with your neighbors, family and friends. 

WABA has a 40-year history of successful advocacy in the D.C. region. We depend on our members and supporters to help us demonstrate the need for better bicycling in the District of Columbia; Montgomery, Prince George’s, Fairfax, Arlington counties; and the city of Alexandria.
