[PR] Additional Arrest Made in Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, Or Coercion, and Obstruction of Justice Offenses in various parts of DC

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division along with Special Agents from Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington Field Office, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force announced an additional arrest has been made in reference to Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, Or Coercion, and Obstruction of Justice offenses in various parts of the District of Columbia.  

The defendant was found to knowingly have conspired with another defendant, previously arrested on May 1, 2019, to have recruited, enticed, and transported adults to engage in a commercial sex. The defendant also knowingly obstructed, attempted to obstruct, interfered with and prevented with the enforcement of sex trafficking of children laws.  

On Friday, August 16, 2019, pursuant to a DC District Court Judge order, 20-year-old Sadie Baca, of Baltimore, MD, was charged with Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, Or Coercion, and Obstruction of Justice. 

On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, pursuant to a DC District Court Judge order, a 27-year-old adult male, of Clinton, MD, was charged with Sex Trafficking of Children, Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, Or Coercion, and Obstruction of Justice. The Defendant was found to knowingly have recruited, enticed, and transported both adults and juveniles to engage in a commercial sex.
