[PR] Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 3200 b/o 13th Street, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, June 22, 2020, in the 3200 block of 13thStreet, Southeast. 

At approximately 5:05 pm, Seventh District officers responded to the listed location after hearing the sounds of gunshots. While on the scene, officers were notified that two adult males were being treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening gunshot wounds. 

On Monday, June 22, 2020, 34 year-old Cedric Moore, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).

The Metropolitan Police Department would like to thank the Metro Transit Police Department for their assistance with this case.

This case remains under investigation.
