Reading Is Fundamental seeks Marketing Manager
Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team in Washington DC. The Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing the project management processes for digital, print and video projects in support of RIF’s strategic priorities including building brand and program awareness and engagement and support for RIF fundraising, programs, products and events. This person will be responsible for planning, implementation and day-to-day management of projects, including email engagement, monthly newsletter, digital engagement via RIF social platforms, and creating new promotional tools and resources.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Partnerships to understand and inform marketing strategy to drive and achieve project objectives.
Create and maintain annual editorial calendar to support audience engagement and build awareness across all RIF communication channels.
Manage writing, creative and production of weekly educator email, along with additional program and product emails.
Manage writing, creative and production of monthly e-newsletter.
Write, create content for and manage organization’s social platforms.
Manage the day-to-day development and coordination of collateral, promotions, and communication tactics working closely with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors, from initiation to execution.
Create, implement and manage integrated marketing communication plans, including outlining project plans, develop timelines and monitor progress, including deadlines, specs, assets, budget, vendor coordination, status updates, approvals and final delivery.
Vendor management, including interfacing with and manage the work of graphic design, video, print, copywriting and other vendors.
