Brooklyn-based artist Modesto Flako Jimenez is bringing his acclaimed show, Taxilandia, to Washington, DC! Join us for important discussions about the revitalization of Anacostia and the potential for gentrification, featuring the voices of local creatives and residents Melani N. Douglass (Family Arts Museum), John Johnson (Verbal Gymnastics), and JaySun (HisStory of the Drum). These engaging conversations will highlight the experiences of those who live in the neighborhood and the impact these changes may have on their community.
